Dr. MacArthur is thrilled to be joining Digestive Disease Associates.  She comes from Yale Digestive Diseases and CT Gastroenterology Consultants.  She is trained in general gastroenterology, including diagnosis and management of many disorders including inflammatory bowel disease, celiac sprue, irritable bowel syndrome and gastroesophageal reflux disease.  She has a special interest in pelvic floor disorders and women’s health.  She is skilled in upper and lower diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, capsule endoscopy, anorectal manometry and hemorrhoid banding.  She is proficient in management of all forms of gastrointestinal bleeding, polypectomy, and endoscopic dilation.
